This Is Legal? Then Why Aren’t We Doing More Of It?

300″ height=”253″ />Per Circuit Court Judge Tim Boyle, Corey Curtis may have a right to life (along with liberty and the pursuit of happiness), but he doesn’t have the right to create any more life.

The Wisconsin man, who has fathered nine children with six women, was ordered yesterday to cease procreating until he can support his numerous offspring.

At Curtis’s sentencing yesterday for bail jumping and failure to pay child support, Circuit Court Judge Tim Boyle told the 44-year-old Racine man that his frequent breeding was to be curbed as a condition of his three-year probation term.

Curtis owes about $90,000 total in back child support and interest to the mothers of his children. Pictured in the above mug shot, Curtis will have to wipe out that debt before he can add heir number ten, ruled Boyle.

…Previously, a Kentucky judge ordered a deadbeat dad (12 children with 11 women) to refrain from having sex in an attempt to keep him from adding a 13th dependent. The country’s most famous deadbeat dad, Tennessean Desmond Hatchett, has fathered more than 20 children (with 11 women). But Hatchett’s procreation rate has slowed significantly over the past 40 months due to the convicted felon’s status as a ward of state’s Department of Correction.

Having to rely on the state to pay for your kids is almost as bad as not paying your child support. So, why stop with deadbeat dads? How about we add welfare moms to the list, too? Although it’s not the business of the state to tell people how many kids they should have, it becomes the state’s business if it’s asked to pay for them. If we’re going down this road, let’s go all the way.

    I agree wholeheartedly!!

  2. Mike Henry says:

I understand the concept, but I only see 3 ways to implement the program (jail, abortion or surgery – vasectomy, prostatectomy or castration). Which do you prefer?

  3. chris says:

So, it’s only a woman’s choice if they want to kill the baby? Having the baby gives the man no choice? Can someone explain how that’s fair?

  4. mark aulita says:

Chris we are not talking about killing babies here, get back on subject.

  5. Allison says:

Chris, the choice is yours to make. Keep your freaking pants on.

  6. Charlie Rodgers says:

I think Chris has a point. If a court can legally order a man to stop fathering babies he cannot financially support why can it not also ordr a woman to stop getting pregnant with babies she cannot financially support. Unless my college biology text was woefully in error it takes two people one male and on FEMALe to create a new human. There fore both are equally culpable.

I have always said that those on welfare should not have additional children….but the government cannot forbid it. What should be done is let them have more kids, but do not give out additional benefits for breeding. If my wife and I have a baby…neither one of us gets a raise to cover our additional costs.

Interesting. But correct me if I’m wrong, isn’t Corey black? I believe Margaret Sanger’s stated goal in forming “Planed Parenthood,” was to wipe out the black population of America through forced sterilization. Which somehow would permit the progressives to take over America. It all seemed just too fantastic to me.

You see, I have been a pro-choice conservative, or libertarian, a long time, so when I heard about this, I’ve been cracking wise about how dumb liberals are to whittle down their main demographic. But now that the progressives have taken over, it seems they are making good on their plan to wipe out blacks. So it seems, your suggestion black women should be next (which i assume you are kidding about), fits right in with the progressive’s plans. Talk about a teat case! Yet blacks are still convinced conservatives are racist!

I can’t wait for Coulter to find out about this one. She’s going to love this.

  10. Mr. Krishan says:

So long as reproductive rights are FULLY vested solely with the woman, the courts should have ZERO ability to influence this man’s sexuality.

    Don’t believe me? Who decides:
If she is on the pill?
    If she has an abortion?
If she adopts out the child?
If she puts his name on the birth certificate?

The correct answer is: the woman. So long as she has sole reproductive rights, she should have sole reproductive OBLIGATION. And the state shouldn’t be subsidizing – er, paying her welfare – for it, either.

    • Rjschwarz says:

They said he can’t procreate, not thst he cant copulate. So basically pregnancy prevention is now 100% his responsibility.
