The UN Is Learning Not To Mess With Texas

It’s insulting to the United States to have bureaucrats from the corrupt United Nations here monitoring our elections like we’re Haiti. That’s why it’s so gratifying to see Texas giving them exactly the respect they deserve.

Don’t mess with Texas elections.

That’s the double-down message Texas Attorney General Greg Abbott delivered Thursday to poll watchers affiliated with United Nations who want to come and observe voting on Election Day.

The squabble started after Abbott wrote to the Organization for Security and Co-Operation in Europe, threatening to prosecute any of its members who come near a polling location.

“The OSCE may be entitled to its opinions about Voter ID laws, but your opinion is legally irrelevant in the United States, where the Supreme Court has already determined that Voter ID laws are constitutional,” Abbott wrote.

Abbott concluded his letter by adding that the Texas Election Code governs all election participants and that OSCE officials are not authorized to enter a polling place. He said it “may be a criminal offense for OSCE’s representatives to maintain a presence within 100 feet of a polling place’s entrance.”

“Failure to comply with these requirements could subject the OSCE’s representatives to criminal prosecution for violating state law,” Abbott wrote.

Seeing some prissy UN monitor perp walked into a Texas jail would be an immensely enjoyable experience and Texas would be just the state to do it if they don’t mind their P’s and Q’s.

Ive known a lot of Texans in my life; never met one I didn’t like; some more than others. Their not all badasses by any means; but their a prideful bunch and if you insult one he’s gonna whup on you if he can; for sure he’s gonna try.

Well both Obama and the UN have now insulted the entire State of Texas and every man woman and child; the first UN wussie to open his mouth or look crosseyed is gonna open up a brand new can of whupass. Don’t be surprised if it isn’t some young 14 year old in a big hat with a daddy in the Military.
It ain’t the size of the Texan in the fight; it’s the size of the fight in the Texan; and the Good Lord gave them all a big portion of that.

    Sic em Texas!

  13. SG Warren says:

You do realise that the UN doesn’t actually monitor elections any more and that all election monitoring in the US is done by NGO’s who will be US citizens right?

A little embarrassing that the Texan Attorney-General doesn’t know that, although I’m willing to bet he actually does know that and is just saying they are from the UN to rabble-rouse.
