Ender’s Game Discussion

These are some of the things I thought after reading Ender’s Game:

The treatment of Ender and the other children in battle school was brutal, but justified under the circumstances. (My Opinion)

The policy of limiting human reproduction is a terrifying government overreach. China is now suffering the devastating effects of such policies. There is a huge difference in the percentages of men and women, creating a shortage of women. I would never accept a government ban on the number of children a person/couple can have.

I would probably be one of the people who volunteered to colonize the bugger worlds.

It was interesting that Peter took on the name of Locke (obviously a reference to John Locke) and Valerie took on Demosthenes. I wasn’t up on Demosthenes, so here is the Wiki page where I got the cliff notes.
