Biden Deploys Cheshire Grin To Terrible Effect

The debate tonight was incredibly interesting on several levels.  The first is the tactical demeanor of Vice President Joe Biden who came across as exasperated and angry during a serious policy debate.  Again and again Biden responded to the Ryan common sense by acting like a snarky High Schooler.

On the substance, conservatives clearly saw a victory by Ryan because he unapologetically stood up for our ideas and principles.  Liberals think Biden won on substance because he seemed more “sincere” than the President.

On demeanor, Vice President Joe Biden demeaned the esteem of his office.  Paul Ryan was respectful and calm even thanking the Vice President for his time at the end of the debate, a courtesy that Vice President Biden didn’t extend to Congressman Ryan.  The Vice President also clearly illustrated why they have a nearly 0% track record of bi-partisan accomplishment.  If you don’t agree with the administrations ideas you are contemptible, deserving of smirks (the President) and a ridiculous grin (the Vice President).

One of the key moments of the debate was how effectively Paul Ryan dismantled the 47% criticism with a quick zinger by highlighting that if anyone should be able to understand an unfortunate statement it was Joe Biden. Joe Biden continued the line of attack but it had lost all of its effectiveness.

Ryan did get hit hard on requesting stimulus dollars.  It’s hard to explain how you have to balance your policy votes and your constituent services.  Biden clearly stirred up his base a bit but his demeanor is going to cost him with the general public.  It was clearly the actions of a desperate campaign who would gamble expanding the base for trying to wildly grasp at a base who is getting ready to abandon their political establishment.  Tactically, you are seeing a desperate campaign and if the President behaves anything like Biden did tonight this race will be over.

  1. Mike Jacobs says:

For Barack Obama this was even a worse debate than the last one. What we learned tonight is that between Barack and Joe, Joe is the smart one. Holy Crap!

    • Bobby says:

Mike such a great observation. I thought that during the debate. Biden may be a bull……. but he is a smart one.

    • Ron Norman says:

This stuff is no laughing matter. What is he thinking of? Laughing about issues of life and death? That just isn’t right. Also do you think that he is laughing because he knows that he manipulated the vonerable poor black people of this country just trying to help thier communities out? They don’t care about all these numbers and what any of these guys say so much. They see someone for the first time that is someone that they can relate to as far as Obama’s act goes. They think that he will help them by giving out this free food and free money. Yeah the laughing is because he thinks that he tricked a whole ethinic group into following his campain becase of thier skin color.

What is the normal common sence person to do in this situation? First off, don’t claim to be from a tea party, or any side of the spectrum. Claim to be a conserned regular person who wants to help others to know the truth and to work to build everyones dreams into a reality. To be totally free and to have a very happy and great life. Try to show that only through hard work and dedication are such things possible.

I understand that people want life to be as easy as possible and to have as much fun as possible with no set backs, but the work of life must be done. If you don’t wanna work and be able to have your own stuff that you worked for, then what does that mean? Does it mean that you wanna be ruled over by a person telling you what to do and when to do it? Just so you can get something for free? That isn’t being free and happy. Thats called slavery.

Wanna start something in this country? A wild fire? Create a black tea party for freedom in America. How’s that for an idea?

Hope everyone has a nice day.

  2. Gerald Rudy says:

So, Mr. Biden was indeed himself as advised by his peers and hoped for by his detractors. He was right on script, nothing changes with liberals, even if the obvious is staring them in the face. We’ll see what all the conservative commentators have to say tomorrow, I can hardly wait (-:’}………… I will say, it was a lively debate.

    • Dean says:

When you can’t tell the truth just smile and lie for the camera bud.. With a ZERO track record and with nothing to show for it but higher unemployment a higher deficit then ever before its hard not to be shamed out of the spot light.. Obama didn’t create a single job business created jobs if any.. I wish people get a clue government dose not create jobs business and the individual will power to get ones ass out in the job market and seek work creates jobs. Stop lying to every one when you say your going to create 5 mill jobs this or 7.5 mill jobs that you’ll only create the jobs by helping create a better economic growth which means less government control, lower taxes to spawn faster business growth. In one way Mitt and Ryan are correct lower the tax burden on the corporate they’ll put people back to work because its more profitable to do so. Obama kind of right on the other hand make the rich pay more taxes yeah you’ll probably get your taxes in the long run but the corporate will cut payroll cut spending to make up for the loss in taxes which means they’ll invest less in company growth and more in to survival strategy.
What ever is to become of the ellection the American people will only be left with the option either work harder to survive or give up all together and face the facts that the US government has become out of control on its spending and its a machine that is draining all of our well beings..

      • Teddy says:

My favorite part about lower taxes, is that things cost LESS while at the same time you get to keep MORE of your money. It’s beautiful; the reason America is the forefront of Humanity. Let’s HOPE this doesn’t CHANGE.

      • Shirle Hummitsch says:

Biden’s laughter was a deliberate ruse. While Ryan was busy learning the facts about all the issues prior to the debate, Biden practiced laughing in the mirror. He did this of course because he knew there would be a split screen, just like the one Obama and Romney had. He accomplished what he set out to do – he distracted us from what Ryan was saying. If you don’t think so, stop and think of what Ryan was saying when Biden was laughing and I will bet you can’t. Obama couldn’t look Romney in the eyes and Biden couldn’t stop laughing. I struggle to understand why anyone would vote for a coward and a fool!

        • DeAnn Glover says:

I can’t figure out why people would vote for Obama either..My daughter & son-in-law are Obama supporters,. They are very smart people with college degrees. I know a lit of people will vote for Obama for the “free” stuff. Free for them, but the rest of us will have to pay for it. What so many people who vote for the “free” stuff don’t realize is that one day the money to pay for that “free” stuff is going to be gone. It is time that all the people who will vote for Obama because of the “free” stuff get up off their dead a**es and get a job, any job. I am not talking about the people who lost their jobs in this down enonomy, I am talking about the people who just don’t want to work and as a result don’t.

          • Mollie says:

Sadly a college degree doesn’t mean you have common sense. Sometimes I just have to shake my head to think people would even consider voting for Obama.

          • Linda Kehoe says:

The problem with Socialism is that sooner or later you run out of other people’s money- Margaret Thather

        • Valleri Lacore says:

You said it and I totally agree! When someone like Biden laugh that much; they are either too embarrassed by the facts at hand, or are hiding something.

      • Rose says:

Everything Dean said is correct, Yea you could make the rich pay more taxes, but it’s the evil of two. If companies can’t make money for themselves plus pay us their bills give us raises etc. What good does it do to make the rich pay an abundant amt.? I guess I’m poor cuz we make 22,000 a yr. We haven’t had money for any kind of extraveganzas. Just pay bills, gas, groceries. I have to plan ahead for presents on birthday’s, anniversary’s, Christmas. Yea this is really funny Biden cuz at least you & your families can do all this, having all kinds of fun on us, Yea real funny.

      • Rosella Kasper says:

The unemployment figures Obama and Biden quote are so wrong, and unemployment may go down for a while. It’s the start of the Christmas shopping season. I live in Branson, a big tourist and shopping town. From October through November hiring goes up. Then after Black Friday most get laid off. The shows all close down, the hotels shut down, and people are out of work until March. Our situation may be a little unique, but not on Christmas retail hiring. That happens all over the country. Then after Christmas the extra help is laid off.

  3. robin collier says:

Watching the debate tonight I was truly ashamed of the Vice President of the United States…..Republican or Democrat has nothing to do with simple class and proper behavior. Joe Bidens arrogance and rude behavior was a disgrace. He made a mockery of his position and tried to tear the Republican party to shreds instead of conducting himself like a gentleman and a leader of this great nation…….His conduct was that of a drunken fool.
Bad form Mr. Vice President……truly bad form.

  4. M Fleischmann says:

Snarky High Schooler indeed. Unfortunately, if he is playing a marketing game by it, the average ‘adult’ in this country will respond favourably to this type of immaturity. He also used the word ‘friend’ when refering to Senator Ryan…the correct address in a debate is ‘my opponent’ or a polite title such as ‘sir’ or ‘the gentleman’. It reminded me of scenarios where someone older is taking advantage of someone who is younger and tries to trick them into believing the lie of the deception along the way through the use of repetition. Ryan stayed the course on policy as serving the interests of our nation first. It’s too bad we have a President who uses the instability of the muslim world for election points in such diverse ways. Way to go keeping your cool Senator Ryan.

  5. Joanne Smithton says:

Apparantely the deaths of Americans in foreign countries is a laughing matter to this administration. Will they still be laughing if there is another atttack on our soil?
Terrorism is no laughing matter. Vote these guys out!

  6. Stephanie S says:

There were the grins and the I, I, I, I’s………………….from Biden! Ryan showed he has class!
    Romney/Ryan 2012!

  7. Sandra Christine says:

Biden needs to schedule an appointment with his therapist. He is a political figure who is trolling during this debate with his heartless fake smile, his interruptions, his mocking facial expressions.

  8. Rosemary Ermis says:

Joe Biden had the demeanor of a rabid pit bull. His strategy was to bark and bark unceasingly in an attempt to keep Ryan from completing any sentences. I’m surprised he didn’t try to bite Ryan on the leg. Guess he was just protecting his master.

  9. Linda says:

I do not believe tha Vice President Biden was
acting very professional!!! It was not a mockery,
which he tried to make it!!!

  10. Alma Boudreaux says:

Biden looked and acted demented. His insane laughter is frightening especially since he would be President if something happens to Obama.

  11. I thought that Biden was rude and disrespectful. What does he find funny about 4 americans being butchered in Libya? What does he find funny about Iran pursuing their nuclear capabilities even though we have sanctions? Over and over again he either smiled, laughed or had that stupid grin-the discussions were too important and he treated it like it was a joke-shame on you Joe!

  12. Elizabeth Grantham says:

Mr. Biden was rude, arrigant, & lied on many topics. Thank GOD Sen. Ryan was a gentleman threw it all. Even the lady was rude to Mr.Ryan by inturupting him while he answered. Mr. Biden needs to leave government & Mr.Obama needs to join him. Mr. Obama pisses on our country & military & bowes to the enemy. 4 more years of them, Hell no. Mr Biden I’m ashamed u claim to be a catholic. You are Loyal to the LORD only 1/2 way, while u r totally loyal to obama. The man is pure evil. remember u answer to GOD in the end.

  13. Jerry says:

Jerry here. Since a “moderate” moderator can’t be found because of the blood lust of both parties, I propose a “shot timer” connected to both camera and microphone of each candidate, and that the candidates be moved backstage to separate rooms. “When the light is red, your mic is dead” will be the rule. That way, each candidate gets only their allotted time, and the opposition cannot interrupt. Take human will out of the loop.

By the way, if tonight’s blood lust debate didn’t display to you that America is under God’s wrath, then I guess you’ll have to wait to see Iran nuke NYC to see my point.

Vote ANTI-INCUMBENT, turning all existing office-holders up for election out of office.

    • Connie says:

It strikes me oddly that every time something happens that is not happy, no matter what it is, it is God’s wrath. A.I.D.S. was God’s wrath, weather problems, whatever. I have the funny feeling that God is in the same place the devil is. Blamed for everything. It is not God or satan that did these things my friend, we are the culprate. If God was really that angry He could do alot better than jack up a debate.

    • Diane says:

EXCELLENT timer idea Jerry! If nothing else, so dums can’t cry about timing (even though JB got more time AND was rude during Ryan’s remarks). I’m not, but aren’t Catholics at least confused by JB’s claim to be a “practicing Catholic?” But then, how could any Catholic, any Christian, vote for abortions and “redefining” marriage (murder and debauchery)! Yes, Jerry, we’re most definitely feeling God’s wrath for turning our backs to Him. Watch Rabbi Jonathan Cahn’s video “Isaiah 9:10…” Every incumbent?

  14. Des Cole says:

‎”Hey Joe, I’m 70+ years of age and I’m totally positive that you are a political dinasour. Also, your disrespectful smirk and continued interuptions were uncalled for.”

The transparent displays of arrogance and rudeness unhooked many of Biden’s points. The overall impression of Biden’s actions added up simply to a display of condesension. Very poor debating technique….equaling his boss, tho for diffent reasons.

  15. Dean says:

Its kind of funny I watched on the tv the burnings of the flags and the demolition and the murdering of Americans on American soil with a reaction faster then the US president did for a week and a half.. Oh its just demonstration an riots.. Well normally riots are policed and the crowd subdued not Americans killed.. Brings just another number of casualties to the list of those who have already lost theirs on 9-11 to a higher number due to terrorists and the lack and ability of the government of the US to act before acted upon to secure the safety of its people. So don’t sit there and keep lying to me because I’m not buying it.. As empty seats sit vacant in the Un meetings day after day and meetings of foreign nationals go UN spoken people over seas are dying every day..

  16. Dean says:

    A-men to Jerry..

  17. Dean says:

I am a Christian. I know where I stand on the abortion issues.. I don’t think abortions should be legal. Its just a contraceptive to a lot of woman that can’t take contraceptive measures.. I’ve seen it, an acquaintance has had three abortions that I know of and if she gets pregnant again before she’s married she’ll probably have another. But yes I can see in the views of woman of pro abortion that abortion should be legal in instances of incest or rape that is an truly unwanted pregnancy UN controlled by self motivated action. But there again the rights of the individual states that govern the laws of the states control the laws with in.. Religion and government should never be allowed to be intervened.. What’s right for you might not be right for me.. Religious or not. So get to the real issues at hand the national debt and government spending. the people of the US will take care of them selves. Oh and has any one asked how much Obama care costs? The single individual because I remember some one saying it should be affordable to US people as it is to senators and congressmen alike. So please so tell me how this is? And what the cost to me and my family of three would be..

  18. C. Brian Daniels says:

Nice hatchet job by the vice-president. Biden came across as an angry, demented old fool. I could not imagine a sitting vice-president making an ass of himself in front of the American people, noxious laughing, outbursts of anger, rudely interrupting Paul Ryan as he was speaking on very serious policy issues. Status quo foreign policy equated to four dead Americans at the American Embassy in Lybia. Yes, Joe. I’m sure the families of the victims really appreciated you laughing at their expense. Paul Ryan was cool and calm as he has always been. He came across as the epitome of grace under fire. Biden tanked on foreign policy. You can only spin a lie so much. It has already been stated that more security was needed. This was an atrocious lie by Joe Biden. You don’t laugh when people have died. Paul Ryan did not get a chance to lay out the five-point plan, but that really didn’t matter. Joe Biden shot another torpedo in Obama’s boat tonight. The debate was a groaner, but Paul Ryan won. Demeanor can seriously outweigh issues.

  19. Mark says:

I have seen this in the third grade when someone gets hit with a good argument – the only thing left is to try to ridicule their opponent. It is the James Carville approach and seeks to belittle while making childish faces and smirks. I think I will go with the gentleman who made the sense. Bully-boy Biden is a sad joke.

  20. Irene Garcia says:

Proud of Ryan for keeping his cool and being dignified despite the unprofessional, rude and disgusting behavior of Biden. How can you take this man seriously when he behaves like an idiot. This was to be a serious debate and Biden laughed it off as if it were unimportant. The moderator showed her bias when she repeatedly cut Ryan off during his responses. NO VP Biden, we do not trust you or Obama. Your administration is the most corrupt, less transparent and most scandalous than any other administration before you. We do not trust you because you put your politics before doing what is right for our country and the American people. We wish the election was tomorrow so we can kick you and all of your administration out of our Capitol and get our country back on track with Romney and Ryan!!!!!

    • JoAnn Waits says:

All of these comments have been right on….it was hard to watch the debate as this idiot interrupted, cheshire grinned and smirked during Ryan’s comments. I agree with you totally Irene, the commentator was not only bias, she would ask Ryan questions during his answer to her FIRST question. Four Americans tortured and dragged through the streets of Lybia and laughter from this administration? Not funny Mr. Biden, you’re a joke for a VP!

  21. Anna says:

The Vice President was rude, laughed at the wrong times, interrupted whenever he wanted more time and in general acted like a spoiled child who was not getting his every wish instantly granted. This spoiled child was chosen by the President to be his second in command. Which causes any thinking adult to wonder about the quality of Obama’s decisions when we have his decision to make Joe Biden his vice president as an example of his decision making abilities. Obama/Biden have had 4 years in the White House, every bad decision that could be made was made and the country is in trouble. Their reaction to this problem is to continue the course for another four years. Its time for the American people to jump ship and join Rommey/Ryan for a future that has the possibilities.

  22. Lance V. Snead says:

First-Let me say -GOD BLESS AMERICA!
Second- God bless Obama and Biden for the Devil lives in your heart. You have shown the truth that you are both deceivers, liars and corruptors of the truth. You are a Disgrace to the offices you hold, the Flag and the people of the USA. The contempt and distaste you have for the USA was so obvious in both debates. You both should be tried for TREASON!
I am ashamed of you both! Obama and Biden-what a joke!

  23. Ironbob says:

Say what you will about Mr. Obama’s debate performance, the one thing can be said after watching this debacle. Unlike Joe Biden, the President didn’t disgrace his office.

    • Judith says:

Joe Biden talked about how unemployment is under control .. well Mr. Biden you and Mr. Obama need to see it first hand …. PLease people lets put them in the unemployment line and maybe they can have a reality check. Oh and by the way, Joe maybe you should check your facts when spouting stupidity on Gov. Rommney … He is a kinder, more geneous man then you will ever be and yes he does pay his taxes and well and take care of his charities which is more than can be said for you …

  24. Mike Parise says:

Agreed on the previous remarks about Biden’s lack of respect tonight, I just want to add that the moderator often cut in during Ryan’s answers but I did not see the same when it was Joes turn.

  25. Daisy Villa says:

Ryan won with both style and substance. Biden ‘s laughing at Ryan was rude and not becoming of his position. Biden is also not Presidential Material. He was sent in to try to make Ryan not credible….it backfired. Ryan won even though he has no real debating experience. Biden’s job is hard….defending failed domestic and foreign policies.

We need to get used to saying, President Mitt Romney and Vice-President Paul Ryan

And I like the sound of First Lady Ann Romney..

  26. Leona Suttle` says:

God Bless our Country because Obama and Biden are a JOKE !!!!!

  27. DapperDon says:

I think one of the most important things that was said last night was by Ryan when he said (and I’m paraphrasing but the point was not lost on me) that he and Romney would “..not spend the next four years blaming anyone. They would take responsibility.”

This current administration has not take responsibility for anything that has happened over the past 3+ years. Nothing is their fault, it’s always the fault of someone else. It’s time, folks, to put some adults in the White house.

  28. Dave Rowe says:

Joe Biden portrayed the Joker from Batman almost perfectly. If only he had asked, “Have you ever danced with the devil in the pale moonlight.” his performance would have been perfect.

  29. Old Retired guy says:

Biden came off as the rude, arrogant ass that he is. Although he interrupted Ryan no fewer than 80 times, the liberal moderator did little to control the protocol of the debate

    • James P Fallucco says:

you are correct, that moderator should have told Biden to shut up and wait your turn. I did not like Jim Lehrer either they are sympathetic to the liberals communist democrats.

    • another old retired guy & gal says:

We agree with you — Martha didn’t do a good job a moderator. Even under the circumstances, Sen. Ryan performed like a gentleman.

  30. Debbie says:

I hope Obama/Biden supporters will be honest with themselves and look at what is right in front of their eyes!!! I have noticed for A LONG time that their strategy is to ‘ cut down the opponent’ at all costs, or at least try to. I am also amazed how Biden (and Obama too) constantly criticize Romney and Ryan AS IF THEY (Romney and Ryan) have been running the country for the last 4 years!!! They (Obama/Biden) rarely respond to the facts and explain WHY the economy is in shambles and there is no growth. They go immediately to criticizing the opponent. Both sides keep saying ‘the choice before us is clear’. I hope and pray enough people ‘clearly see’ that choice and vote the great deceiver and divider (Obama) out of office!!!

    • Angela says:

Debbie, I have been praying since the last election that Obama/Biden supporters would wake up and see the facts that are so obvious. Ask any liberal to give you a reason why they are voting for these two America haters and all you will get is visceral attacks. They have no logical reasons, so the attack. Ask the same people what stupid TV shows they watch and then you can see why they have no intelligence. Honestly I am scared for our country, keep praying that enough of us will get out and vote! We need them out of office!

  31. Red Dude says:

Biden said that their intellegnce dept was the problem for totally deceptive information regarding the attacks on the Embassy but their intellegence dept is so great that they’ll cetianly know if Iran get’s a nuclear weapon?
I’m sure there’s a lot of unhappy people in the Intellengence Dept today since that’s already been proven to be toally a LIE! When you know somehting is untrue, it’s still called a lie! Total deception is in our Goverment, amazingly unemployement drops to 7.8% only the ignorant believes that’s true. Obma & Biden believe there’s enough ignorant people that will beieve anything is they just keep repeating the lie long enough! We need to get some honest, decent people in Goverment!
    Romney Ryan 2012!!!

  32. aharris says:

The frustrating part for me is when they keep demanding specifics on “how will you create jobs?” When will either Romney or Ryan just stand up and say, “We don’t need specifics on that, it’s not our job. Our job is simply to create a business friendly environment in this country with tax and regulatory policy. If we do that, the businesses will create the jobs. It’s what they do naturally when the economy grows. Grow the economy; save the jobs.”

    • James P Fallucco says:

Amen to that ! you understand economics, Obama and Biden do not and are incapable of learning all they do is destroy.

    • Rosella Kasper says:

Romney did say how lowering taxes would create jobs thereby creating more workers who would be taxpayers whose taxes would be applied toward the deficit. You can’t put it much more straight forward than that.

  33. PJ Polley says:

I was appalled at Vice President Biden’s behavior – the smirking, eye-rolling, and silly grin. He looked and acted deranged. Grow up! Mr. Ryan, on the other hand, was calm and articulate, even while being constantly interrupted. Where was the moderator? Also, I agree with your stand on abortion and do not agree with Biden that you are forcing your opinions on this issue on others. When my tax dollars go to Planned Parenthood, the largest abortion provider in the country, THAT is forcing the pro-abortion issue down MY throat, and I DON’T LIKE IT! Mr. Ryan, you did a great job, as did Gov. Romney during his debate. You have my vote. I am praying for you. God bless America.

  34. James P Fallucco says:

Thank you for your analysis. Obama Biden is disaster for America. I sincerely hope and pray that Americans with logic and common sense ability left can see the clear choice is to remove Obama Biden from office. As I commented on my facebook page, Biden was like a rabbid dog foaming out the mouth, lies after lies, deluding himself and causing strife. Look up Proverbs 29 verse 9. If a wise man contendeth with a foolish man whether he rage or laugh [ adding or grin] thre is no rest. America is restless and groaning as if after a drinking binge [ voting for Obama's Hope and Change ] now the unbearable hangover, the present state of America’s economy, joblessness, etc.

  35. Miriam says:

For a person who is a second in command of this country, he was very inappropriate that it brings to mind whether he has the beginning of dementia. With 23,000,000 jobless people, the dead Libyan congressman, the dead computer analyst in Libya and his grieving mother Pat Smith, etc. how can someone who is second in command laugh so inappropriately unless he has some form of dementia? Any mental health professional could probably see the signs there. I can’t understand the reason for laughter unless there was a mental issue involved.

  36. Biden’s basic skill is the ability to lie with conviction. Those who would buy a used car from him would be convinced he gave them a great deal. Others would simply recognize him for the con man that he is and shop elsewhere.

Biden would sell a stick-shift vehicle to a one-armed man and feel no guilt about it.

  37. Rosella Kasper says:

I didn’t get to watch it until this morning. Joe Biden was rude and immature. He wouldn’t let Paul Ryan finish anything. But Ryan still managed to stay on track. The Democrats still tried to distort the Romney/Ryan tax plan and health plan. The liberal media is claiming Biden the winner of the debate. If he is, it’s only because he kept interrupting Ryan. Biden looked like a fool and Ryan showed class as well as knowledge. I believe the true winner is Ryan. And aharris: Romney did say how lowering taxes would create jobs thereby creating more workers who would be taxpayers whose taxes would be applied toward the deficit. You can’t put it much more straight forward than that.

  38. Miriam says:

The behavior of the second most important man in the USA was very bizarre.

  39. Letstrythetruth says:

If I had to sum up Bidens performance in one word it would be OBNOXIOUS.

If that dows not work lets through in Rude, Disrespectful, Crude, and Simple Jerk for good measure.

    • William Lewis says:

I agree with all of the above as VP Biden was truly Obnoxious and there is no way he won the debate. The moderator did not perform her job. She definitely showed favoritism to Biden. Senator Ryan was a true gentleman doing the entire debate. How can anyone not see the truth that Obama has not kept any or his promises of 2008.

  40. Letstrythetruth says:

If I had to describe Biden’s perfomance (and he was performing) in one word it would be “OBNOXIOUS”.

If that does not work lets through in Rude, Crude, Disrespectful, and his usual Jerk for good measure.

  41. bob says:

A lady from the State Department testified that she was in contact with the embassy in real time both oraly and visually. Wouldn’t it be prudent to asume one of their first actions is to notify intelegence and the military to see if a rescue mission was possible and of course the President would be notified immediatley if that was going on…Biden flat out lied….and that’s the truth…grin grin

    • Eugene Barrow says:

bob, i watched that testimony offered by Charlene Lamb at State. Biden flat out lied. State would have been in contact with Biden. Bidens job was to inform Obama once he had been informed, if intel was firstly provided to him.. The intel was provided to Biden. He is the second highest official in America.

  42. John the trog says:

I know several people who are one clown short for a circus, now I can tell them where to find him. Way to go Joe, BTW do you have your own big shoes?

  43. Eugene Barrow says:

I think Biden was quick to respond, was pretty accurate with a few blunders. I believe he would have won the debate but his actions cost not him many points. He won outright if people were simply tuning in via the radio. He lost badly on TV. Ryan was respectful, courteous, likable, and pretty much straight forward with a couple of uninformed answers. On the whole he had his figures correct, was informed, and quick on national security. Charlene Lamb at State had one day earlier testified on Capital Hill that she followed events in real time as they unfolded in Benghazi. Ryan failed to seize upon that but perhaps he was not suppose to mention it. I assume Rommey will hammer this home with Obama in NY. If Rommey outduels Obama in NY, I agree with another here, this election is over. Rommey is leading by at least 2 in all the battleground states, tied 49-49 among women wheras he was 17 pts down among women. In Ohio, he is 1 down and surging in PA, WI., CO, and NH.
