Vice President Biden claimed on Thursday night’s debate that he always says what he means. Coming from a man who ought to be running from 75% of what he says, that is definitely going to come back to bite him. While Crazy Uncle Joe is fun to have around to say funny things, what he says cannot possibly be the message the Obama/Biden Campaign wants to put forward.
There are just too many gaffes to recollect. Sure, we all have our favorites (Mine is still, “Gon’ put y’all back in chains!”), but at the end of the day, Biden holds the second highest office in the land. At any given moment, he is a heartbeat away from holding the reins of leadership for this great country, and that is a scary prospect. While some may scoff at the lack of importance a Vice President holds, it should be noted that the Vice President has ascended to the presidency numerous times in our nation’s history.
For your viewing pleasure, I submit for your viewing pleasure, Joe Biden…
A few fun facts:
Franklin Roosevelt was not president during the stock market crash. It was Herbert Hoover. And it was 1929; there were no real televisions yet.
Senator Chuck Graham is a paraplegic, confined to a wheelchair, thus making it impossible for him to stand up.
