My thoughts on Mark Levin’s Ameritopia
(First 100 pages)
I find it difficult to understand the mentality of people who are willing to put up with the rule of a tyrant, for any reason or ideal.
Hobbs’ Leviathan sounded much more reasonable when being explained by my liberal professors and teachers. Levin uses Hobbs’ own words to completely dismantle his ridiculous ideas.
It’s also an effective point that Marx completely lacks the specificity of Utopia and Leviathan, instead focusing on generic political arguments.
More people should read and understand the ideas presented by Locke. His fingerprints are all over truths we now hold sacred.
