As a mom I feel I have more skin in the game than ever this election cycle. I’ve been paying close attention to the Presidential race to figure out what’s best for my family. Polls released last week by CBS News and NYT showed Obama with a 53-41 percent advantage among women. This week Obama and Romney campaigns went into high gear releasing ads targeted at women.
Obama Ad: Pay The Bills
This ad features a woman much like myself talking about all the work it takes being a mom and how a Romney Presidency will disrupt the balance:
“To fund his tax cuts for millionaires, Romney could take away middle class deductions for child care, home mortgages, and college tuition,” a female narrator says.
Romney Ad: Dear Daughter
This ad features a women holding a baby talking to her about the debt she has been born into.
“More women are unemployed under President Obama. More than 5.5 million women can’t find work,” the narrator continues. “That’s what Obama’s policies have done for women.”
Honestly? I don’t trust campaign messaging because I felt good about each candidate and bad about their opponent watching each video. So what’s the truth? What would a future America with four more years with President Obama vs four years with a “President” Romney look like? I don’t know.
We can only talk about what we do know using facts, not emotional campaign rhetoric with sympathetic moms and soft babies. I decided to look at the past and see how women have been affected by the current administration:
I went directly to where women and the family are being hit the hardest. I went to the Energy Information Administration & US Department of Labor to see how much a current Obama Presidency has improved the standard of living for women.
Price of gas & unemployment have more than doubled for women… Moms under the Obama administration.
EMPLOYMENT:
The US Dept of Labor won’t release 2011 stats until December 2012 but there are very telling stats to compare 2007 (as a baseline of “bad”) with 2010.

As moms it is time for us to stand up and be heard not be counted as some number in a poll. We are not pawns to be moved around a board like chess pieces. As a matter of fact over the last few years women have been engaging in the process more than ever by volunteering, lobbying for women at State Capitols and Congress, even running for office. This question may be a little off-topic, Therefore , how s President Obama doing on his Oriental HEIGHT Economic vacation? Properly, things appeared to become off to an excellent start till the Chief executive associated with The far east provided Obama a spiel concerning the U . s . States’ financial debt, as well as our own economic challenges here at home as they debated within the Yuan foreign currency problems. Oddly enough enough, presently there wasn’t greatly talk about China’s cerebral property theft or the plastic-type particles within their rice exports amongst other things.

I’m a women and I’ll never vote for obama he’ve destroy this country and will continue until we are down to our knees if we don’t stop him. all he can do beside golfing and traveling on our dime is slamming Mitt Romney for being an outsourcer on jobs, well I find that hilarious considereing that his close buddy Jeff immelt send the intired division of GE to China and we the American people are on food stamps because WE CAN’T FIND A JOB, he also closed the coal mines, so many people are unemployed because of that and next year we’ll pay twice as much for our utilitys.
If Obama is elected for a second term I shudder to think of his flag flying over
buildings and more of our freedoms being taken away. His attack on the Catholic
Church and teachings are a threat to all religions and it will become more aggressive just as it did in other countries by the communists and socialists in past histories.
The economy will be worse as he is trying to tear down our country and make it into
a third world entity. He has a dislike for white people and it is evident and he is trying
to evoke class warfare which is very obvious to anyone who pays attention to his ambitious and evil doing. He is all for Muslims and has been obvious in his dislike for
Jews and the English. Anyone who would vote for him has no discernment or is
one of his believers a student of Saul Alinsky and a disciple of George Soros. These
people are evil. They have given their souls over to hate, greed and evil.
I agree that America as we have known it, the way that our forefathers fought and died for so we could enjoy freedom of religion and life has fallen so far down. Politicians, who know better, try to change America’s history. American government was established to protect the Church to from the power of the State not to protect the state from the church. People suffered great hardships as they left European countries where they were forced to worship State mandated religion. Protesters were considered heretics and burned at the stake, etc. Coming to America, the new world, offered freedom to worship God as they believed to be they should do not what the State (countries) mandate.
Women have gained many rights in this country, but so many don’t realize how good they have it. Things aren’t perfect but at least women don’t have to cover every part of their body, face included, facing death if a part of their body shows. A man sees whisps of his daughter- in- laws hair blowing out of a window while it is drying can demand that she be put to death. No matter that she has several young children. Women in many countries suffer greatly. American women have it so good when you look at what women in some countries go through.
I believe that President Obama’s direction for our country is extremely anti-American and will result in a loss of freedom that will devastate all Americans, male and female. We will become a 3rd world country, oppressed like people in other 3rd world countries. It is a very frightening way of life based on his father’s dreams, an absentee father at that. However, I also believe that God placed him in power to wake Americans up before it is too late. God has blessed our country since its founding, but because we, the people, have wandered so far from Him, he has been giving us a taste of what life in a Godless country would be like. It isn’t pretty. I believe that, dangerous as it is to the health and welfare of our way of life, President Obama truly believes in what he wants for America, that it is the way we should be governed. I applaud him for sticking to his beliefs; however, if he had been honest with his original campaign, he would not have been elected President. We the people need to pray for President Obama and all other leaders in our country that God will touch their hearts and help them to turn our country back to “one nation, under God”. We will experience Gods peace only as we turn our hearts to Him.
